Some Happily Re-homed Cats
Every year we re-home many cats and kittens. During 2011 we successfully found homes for:
- 86 adult cats
- 43 kittens
- 5 feral cats to rural outdoor homes
- Plus we reunited 2 cats with their owners

Shumba, age 14, he came to us when his previous owners emigrated. He was lucky enough to find a home with a couple who are valued members of our team of helpers. His name means "Lion". More....

Jake
Jake came to live in the Pavilion and everyone fell in love with the sweet old gentleman. He was a little shy around the other resident cats so we were delighted when Olivia and Max also fell in love with him and took him home to live with them. More....

Spike
He came to Paws & Claws as a stray in a very nervous and depressed state. He tested positive for F.I.V (feline aids) and it was decided he would need to be an indoor cat and homed where there were no other cats. We felt that if we could only find the right person to give him all love and patience he needed he could lead a happy, normal life. Then along came Emma ! More....

This friendly tortoiseshell came to Paws & Claws when her owner died. She was very talkative and it was not long before she was chosen to go to a new home. More....

Max is handsome, sleek black cat who is now very much at home with Lindsey and Iain. More....

Her original owner sadly died then she had problems at her new home. Happily she has now settled in wonderfully with Connor and his family. More....

He has only 3 legs and his former owner was going to have him put to sleep. Instead he now has a lovely home with Becky & Jon. He is a super cat and features in our 2011 calendar. More....
