Kiki
Dear Residents and Helpers,
I am having a brilliant time in my new home. I have my very own Summer House (with decking!) in the garden, complete with a table and sleeping box. The views of the garden, fields and woods are just superb from the windows.
I have a new best friend called Sugar, we share our food from the same bowl and go on regular hunting missions together. I have lost count of the number of rabbits we have caught; at first I took them into my home but my owner didn’t like clearing up the mess, so now I just eat them outside—yum!
The only downside has been the dog, but I’ve discovered he’s all bark and no action, se’s also a bit arthritic and can’t quite get up the steps to my house. I shocked him the other day though, as I walked in through the open door where he lives with my owner and right up to his bed in the hallway—when he opened his eyes—well—you should have seen his face—my owner said it was a real “Tom & Jerry” moment, whatever that means.
The food is great here, twice a day and just how I like it, jelly and NO gravy. Sugar and I often go and have a nice cat nap on the compost heap—it’s very sunny, soft and sheltered.
All in all things have turned out very good for me. I missed you all at first, but now I’ve settled in I realise that actually this is the perfect home for me!
Lots of love,
“Kiki Darling”
(my new owner insisted on giving me a surname and she uses it all the time)
