Ella

Ella was found as a long-term stray and brought to us at the end of July 2011. She is a petite tabby aged at least 10 years old but it was difficult to determine her exact age due to the state she was in. Her fur was in a terrible state and she was so malnourished that she could barely stand.

The vet examined her and did some blood tests, which thankfully, came back negative. All she needed was feeding up and plenty of TLC. These photographs were taken 2 weeks later...and what a little character she has turned into!

With a little gentle grooming, a good diet and plenty of sleep in a safe, warm pod she has made a big recovery so far. She wanders around the Pavilion and in the garden, really enjoying all the attention she is getting. Obviously, she is a girl who knows her own mind as a follow up check showed when our vet visited to see how she was getting on!
